^^^ I think i should have given up PBF for Lent. Okay starting NOW i give it up. its bad that i come home from church every sunday to see what new, perverted comic they've come up with. *sighs* i'll sure miss it tho.
really awesome weekend...
Friday = babysitting + beatles music + big bunny. Kids watch some really weird stuff on the internet. don't worry though.. i introduced 'em to my good friend, Homestar Runner.
Saturday = homework + Josh's Party + Anchorman. Josh's party was soooo fun!! I miss hanging out with those people all the time. Stacy's super sweet, and Mal's always fun to laugh with... hmm so at the party we went to Whirlyball.. ddred and laser tagged. Steve Swanson works there now (steve was my bestest friend in elementary school, and my first crush <3!! hehe). so it was good to talk to him again. Hung out at josh's... actually pet Josh's dog which was a first. i think it was because i fed her some pizza crust... hmm and we played video games.. and reminisced about our childhood. Saw 10 things i hate about you.. which was super good. went home, watched anchorman, laughed, and crashed.
Sunday = teach class + homework + Cara's house + church. Nothing too exciting.. guitar jamming session at Cara's house.. we spent an hour making fun of our Group IV project and counted it as "project discussion" in our log book. at least we killed another hour. 6 more to go.
and if any of you dont want to write your TOK paper, i have an uber trippy time killer. try the treasure box game. okay, now go have adventures!

sorry.. last post for today, i promise.. just had a few things to wrap up...

annnd i'd just like to say that Josh Pritchard is awesomely awesome and thank you times ten million!! I was totally gung-ho about trying to stay slim enough to fit in my prom dress.. but.. then i saw buttery-carmel chocolates and decided i can get the dress tailored later. I'm sure Josh would understand ^_^ Its so awesome tho.. 'cause i have a hugging teddy bear!! and i needed a hug today <3! w00t for hugzors!
p.s. I love Alison Goh with all my <3. This CD brings back so many memories... i still know the dance moves to basically every boy band song on there (but dont tell anybody...).

It took me like three tries to understand what the card was saying... Props to Chris (he sent me the valentine[s]). (if u wanna see really awesome old school valentines... i hope Chris doesn't mind if i linky them here. Really the numbers go 1-36, so u can just switch 'em out to see 'em all. i dun feel like linking every single one of them. lo siento.)
bought my prom dress for $50 today. Considering the only other one i saw and liked was 600 bucks i'd say i did pretty well. its red!! lol and strapless.. which is dangerous but w/e.
oh.. and.. *blushes*.. i didn't send you that song... that would be my brother's doing. I was recording songs: this is true.. but.. wouldn't... have... sent it.. and.. im.. really.. sorry. and the Link Valentine is from Chris/Kelly.. i wouldn't have sent that either. as cute as it was...
pweeeeze delete the song... at least until my band and i get a good recording in...

O.K. a friend of mine inspired me. In honor of Valentine's day I'm going to post my "cheap but meaningful" romantic gift ideas!!
Nothing says "I heart you" like a homemade gift... and there's tons of stuff u can make without spending ur life's savings...
1. A Scrapbook - it depends on what kinda a person ur making it for... but pixers, movie tickets, cartoons, glitter... should make for a pretty nice present
2. Duct Tape Rose - Chris Kofos made one for me for my b-day.. i have to say those are super awesome.. and they dont die.
3. Mixed CD - classic. put all "your songs" on it.. but i wanna make some suggestions. If you're going for happy and fun I recommend "Glory of Love", "So happy together", "Don't wanna miss a Thing" or "That Thing You Do" cover by NFG.
-"I saw her standing there" by the beatles is a pretty cute song... but anythign by the beatles will probably do
-if you're going for romantic and sweet "I'll Catch You" by the Get Up Kids is the ultimate. Also try Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes"
4. Message in a Bottle - along with a message u could put little candies in or something.. make it pretty ^_^.. there are a lot of possibilities for that one.
-you might wanna make ur message in a bottle a poem or love letter...
-ugh.. when u write love letters... dun use the "your eyes are diamonds" metaphor unless u talk like that in real life.. and not many of you do.
5. Dollar Art is cute... I personally think the Box would be cool. i'm sure u can think of a million things to put in it.. tic-tacs or something? lol uhh or u could always try the valentine dollar.
6. Make a Message Puzzle... I found this one online, but i think you could make ur own easily.
7. Magic 'I Love You' Bean. This one you'd actually have to buy... but i just thought it was awesome.

Spent most of the weekend working on my guitar project for physics. requirements: 1) at least one string 2) play a scale 3) have a theme. so kara made a real guitar. go figure. i think it turned out superly awesome, tho!! ^_^ its boarding on looking-like-a-bird-house. w/e its prettyful.
on the topic of guitars...
They're called The Scruples and they're Jawsome. not awesome.. awsome with a J because they're that cool.. and they're azn. its just some 13 year old kid on his guitar and 7 year old brother screaming into the compy. it was good for a few laughs today, i admit.
anyway.. my favorite song by them is the Naked Song. Possible lyrics:

iono you tell me what you think hes saying. little kids blurr their words like they're talking spanish or something.
and if you really hate 7 year olds and guitars... this German fork lift safety video should entertain you.. or at least expand your cultural horizons a bit.
oh yeah and the Superbowl happened today. i didn't catch much of it but im sure its worth mentioning.
