bio test kicked my butt. chem test = boarderline, and i just found out my mailbox sharee has been taking my mail this whole time. wtf, mates? i guess she didn't know she was sharing [a mail box]... even tho half the mail she picked up was addressed to "kara mcdermott" wonder who that is... so she's got my letters and important information and MY GUN (for KAOS this week.. i'm still alive!)... plus all the stuff andrew sent me... that sucks.

and that, friends... is why you should always wear sunscreen to your little sister's soccer game (which she kicked butt in btw).
The UTD match sucked. its one thing to lose when you're playing... its another to lose watching from the bench. *frustrated* you can't even really do anything about the losing :(....
and on top of that, the UTD girls were meanies! they got a list of our names and numbers and yelled stuff at us.. Sophia (our mexican)was about to go beat them all up... but another girl on our team held her back... and poked her in the eye on accident in the process. that was pretty exciting.
i love volleyball. and all the girls on the team. they make me happy!!
anyway... im going to go play some more FFR. Homework? uh.. maybe later.
EDIT: i just called my mom.. Apparently we're gonna be in a hurricane. i should read a newspaper or something sometime. dang... if the world's gonna end, it should just hurry up and do it! no more of this natural disaster crap.Kirei desu :~: 10:11 AM :~:

Heck yes!! FFVII Advent Children is FINALLY out!

I haven't actually sat down and watched the whole thing yet, but from what Lut says, i hear its amazing (Lut didn't even play ff7 and he thinks its a "damn good movie").
Heh.... here's the torrent... but it won't do you much good unless you know japanese. so here's the english subtitle file, too. when you save the files, save 'em in the same directory as a vid file, and if the subtitles still don't pop up you probably need to dl VOBSUB.
too much work for just a movie? pretty graphics and ff7... its so frikin worth it!
heh and Lut (he's where i got all my links) found this Final Fantasy VII: Last Order! It's set before the actual game takes place. Here's the subbed version for all of us who only speak english.
we lost our tourney, but i get to go home for a little bit this weekend ^_^!

i'm going to be honest with you really quick.. just really quick because i try my best to keep this site from being my "ranting" place... i try to make it more of an entertainment page than anything else (admittedly i haven't been doing a good job of updating interesting things lately...)
That being said... I don't really like it here. don't get me wrong.. the people here are SO nice.. and my teachers are cool... and my classes are interesting, but i can't say i'm enjoying this much.
if anybody were to ask me how college is i'd say "its fun" or "i like my classes" or something... but college is just like high school. just without the good friends to make the crapload of work worthwhile. and i am SO greatful that Tim and Bob stopped by yesterday to chill for a while. 'course.. now there's not much chance of that happening again but i really needed to see some familiar faces.
i get the impression my dad thinks he's sent me on some amazing extended vacation where the best events of my life are waiting to happen. i dont wanna make him think im miserable or anything but the majority of my time i spend thinking about going home.. or how i'm going to find a way to see my friends this weekend...
im sure it just takes time to get accustomed! im really just upset right now... about lots of things.. and my meal card is missing. i know who i WANT to blame.. but now, more than any time ever before. i know its my fault. i dont feel much like eating just yet anyway
and spanish class got cancelled... which means one glorious thing for Kara: nap time.
so i'm out.

back in buisness!
wow... you guys are still looking at this? well.. after the accidental template-deleting mishap i began a code re-writing adventure! it looks mostly the same as the old one.. only i had to use the code for a VERY old message board. please comment so i can get rid of all the old posts!
